The ZfM at the Long Night of Science

Electrical engineering in chip format: a tour of the clean rooms at Chemnitz University of Technology's Center for Micro and Nanotechnologies (ZfM) was one of the many items on the programme for TUC Day and the Long Night of Science on 27.04.24.

Many people interested in micro and nanotechnology, from young to old, responded to this call. On the premises, the staff of the Centre for Micro and Nanotechnologies introduced them to the world of the smallest structures on a micro and nanometre scale for the production of tiny components for computers, smartphones, vehicle electronics, robots, medical electronics and much more.
