The JRP-Consortium consists of a core of 6 National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) and Designated Institutes (DIs), complemented by 7 universities and research institutes and 5 industrial partners; therefore, the project will facilitate joint working between NMIs, scientific community and industry. The consortium brings together broad experience and world-leading expertise in the complementary areas needed to ensure the success of this project

Strength-ABLE is a three year collaborative European project that will generate design rules and new measurement techniques to exploit the opportunity to length-scale engineer materials into more sustainable/energy efficient industrial components that are lighter, stronger, fatigue and wear resistant.
