For the SELECT network, the development of industrially applicable, resource- and energy-optimized manufacturing processes along the value chain is carried out in development lines such as:
- Materials for selective heating
- Selective heat treatments for material modification and system integration
- Tools and machine integration
- Energy sources
- Sensors and process monitoring
The development tracks should not be viewed as autonomous subsystems. Rather, they map complex process sequences within individual thematic modules and interact with one another.
